Sfridoo is the Italian company that, through the principles of the Circular Economy, helps small-medium enterprises and large industrial groups to innovate their waste management processes through the adoption of different solutions.

Sfridoo offers operational services for the optimisation and valorisation of residues, waste and production leftovers.

In addition, it uses innovative cloud tools for material and waste management, enabling companies to achieve important results in terms of cost savings and environmental sustainability.

MISSION

Generating Industrial Symbiosis among enterprises

Sfridoo’s mission is to generate Industrial Symbiosis on a batch model, that is a network of companies on national and international territory that collaborate in order to share materials that are still useful for business.

A virtuous and circular exchange of scraps, waste, by-products, leftover stock and business assets.

Eliminating the concept of waste

Sfridoo’s vision is to eliminate the concept of ‘waste’, aiming for the more sustainable concept of ‘resource’.

Sfridoo is promoting this cultural change to contribute to the European 2050 targets and the UN 2030 Agenda.

Sfridoo is committed to supporting the growth of the adoption of Industrial Symbiosis among companies, investing in the research of eco-innovative solutions.

• Vittoria del “Premio per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile – migliori 10 realtà del settore dell’impresa per l’Economia Circolare” promosso da Fondazione per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile, il Ministero dell’Ambiente e della Sicurezza Energetica, l’Italian Exhibition Group SpA e Circular Economy Network.

• Presenza all’interno del Report Circular Startup Index della Ellen MacArthur Foundation.

• Ente formatore del corso IFTS – “Tecnico per la sostenibilità e l’economia circolare dei processi industriali – Junior Expert in Circular Economy”.

• Vittoria del bando di Art-ER per la partecipazione a SMAU Milano 2023 all’interno degli spazi di Fiera Milano City.

• Partecipazione a diversi eventi sul settore della sostenibilità ambientale e dell’innovazione come Ecomondo 2023, Big Impact Days, Circular Economy 4 Impact, Bologna Tech Week.

• Lancio del nuovo sito Sfridoo.com con nuova interfaccia e design grafico.

• Presenza all’interno del Report Sustainability Waves | ESG Italian Startups, realizzato da Capirlo Factory.

• Spostata la nuova sede operativa presso BigBo – Boost Innovation Garage.

• First prize of Think4Food 2022 project promoted by Alma Vicoo, university centre for cooperation, Legacoop Bologna and the University of Bologna, with the contribution of the Bologna Chamber of Commerce.

• Winner of the acceleration programme Le Serre di Art-ER, organised by Art-ER S. Cons.p.A.

The confirmation

• Runner-up in the Emilia-Romagna Region’s call for tenders for the attraction and consolidation of innovative start-ups DGR 818/2021.

• Industrial symbiosis consultant company for the Smart-Eco-Green project promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Modena and developed by AESS with the scientific coordination of ENEA.

• Company tutor and part of the training of the course Jece – Junior Expert in Circular Economy – the first Higher Technical Education and Training (IFTS) course.

The turning point

• Startup selected for the Circularity goes digital call for proposals and participation in the Demo Day.

• Participation in the SPINN4C innovation scouting programme promoted by Netconsulting on behalf of a group of CIOs of leading Italian industrial companies.

• Release of Rifiutoo cloud software to support waste producers in optimising the residual component.

• Winner of the ART-ER Le Serre incubator, organised by ART-ER S. Cons.p.A.

• Opening with Confindustria Marche Nord of the Circular Economy desk for all associates | Ancona, 01 January 2020.

The revelation

• Participation as “Startup VIP” at the Ecomondo 2019 fair in the ART-ER stand.

• First place in the ER.RSI Prize – Responsible Innovators 2019 organised by the Emilia-Romagna Region.

• Opening with Confindustria Emilia Area Centro of the first counter dedicated to the Circular Economy for all associates.

• Selected among more than 100 Italian Startups for access to the Workshop Day of Get it! x CGM, Welfare, Environmental Action and Smart Technologies.

• Winner of the R2B Smau Bologna call for entries to the technological innovation fair at Bologna fiere on 6-7 June 2019.

• Startup speaker at the Circular Economy Forum 2019, at the Executive MBA of 24ORE Business School, at the event organised by Gruppo Selex on Open Innovation issues and at the Living Lab for the European project FISSAC and at the event “Circular thinking in companies: opportunities for innovation in business models.
