Sfridoo’s team of esperts were contacted by a major manufacturer of solutions for the Ceramic industry to find a solution for their fired ceramic waste with CER code 10 12 08 (ceramic, brick, tile and building material waste).
The company incurred disposal costs of EUR 72/tonne for an annual quantity of about 43 tonnes.
With the intervention of technicians and the support of the Sfridoo platform, a new recipient specialised in the recovery and resale of inert material was found. Thanks to this intervention, the client company reduced its ceramic waste disposal costs to EUR 15/tonne, achieving a total saving of 79%.
